Join us for an interactive workshop that will help you get started on your personal statements or letter of intent for graduate school and other professional postgrad programs.

This event builds on topics that are covered in a Writing Personal Statements webinar on October 8, 11:30 am. We encourage you to register for both events if you can!

Throughout this session, you will:

• Identify a key experience, skill, or challenge that you can include in your personal statement.
• Write at least one paragraph based on the identified experience, skill, or challenge.
• Revise the paragraph using a checklist to guide you.
• Give and receive feedback from peers and facilitators.
• Discuss the writing process and next steps.

You are welcome to join no matter what stage of the writing process you are at, from having a fully polished draft to just getting started!

This workshop is co-facilitated by an SSC Writing Advisor and SSC Career Counsellor.
