Momentum Study Sessions use the power of body doubling (working alongside others in a shared space) to boost accountability and reduce distractions. Perfect for students who experience challenges with executive functioning, procrastination, or staying organized.
Join the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) peer mentors for an open study time designed to help you stay focused and get things done.
What to Expect:
- Open space to study in a quiet environment
- Optional time blocked study periods with short breaks (25:5 Pomodoro strategy!)
- Goal setting activities and resources
- No pressure to socialize or chat with anyone!
What to Bring: Your laptop, notes, and anything you need to study or complete assignments. And maybe even your favourite fidget toys or snacks :)
The Momentum Study Sessions happen at the same time, in the same place each month so you can build consistency and stay on track!
This event has been created by the SAS MacStart program to meet the needs and interests of students with disabilities. However, you do not need to be registered with Student Accessibility Services to participate in this event. All are welcome!
