Food and grocery shopping can be challenging in a new environment. The International Student Experience office in partnership with the Student Wellness Centre will be hosting an international food and grocery tour in Hamilton.
Register to explore:
- Free food tastings
- Free charter bus tour of AfroCan & Swadesh Market
- Tips on how to save money while grocery shopping
- Meet other international students
- Tips to find spices and foods from other countries
You are welcome to buy dry foods or ingredients that will travel well for the duration of the event. This trip offers African and Afro-Caribbean groceries, clothing, cultural items, Indian groceries, clothing, jewelry, and cultural products from Africa, and Asia.
Please note: We will be meeting in the International Student Experience Office (MUSC B118 next to the Chatime) at 11:25 a.m.
